Letter From LDS Missionary

Dear Levi,

It’s obvious you are not Temple worthy. You don’t follow the word of wisdom and you drink hot drinks… how can you ever marry me if you are not Temple worthy?

If you were serious about being with me for eternity and able to follow me to the celestial heavens, you would be baptized by now. But you chickened out. Not my fault.

Sincerely,
The Sister Missionaries

Okay, before you read my response, I want you to reflect on this. No, I do not drink ‘hot drinks’ NOR ‘hot food!’ They cause esophagus (throat) cancer. I’ve done extensive scientific research on this. Many people love their HOT chocolate very hot. So why do you allow that?

Doctrine and Covenants 89:9 says we shouldn’t drink “hot drinks.” The only official interpretation of this term is the statement made by early Church leaders that it means tea and coffee. Caffeine is not specifically mentioned as the reason not to drink these drinks.

You also allow Pepsi, which DOES have Caffeine! WHY you hypocrite.

I was baptized Pentecostal and Catholic, and my first baptism was done by myself in a creek in Rochester.

So, you don’t know anything. You just believe in what you’re told, like some Catholics.

To be honest, I don’t eat much if any meat, unless you consider fish a meat.

BTW, sorry I never got baptized in 2019, my mommy institutionalized me.

Sincerely,

Levi
